Refund & Subscription Policy

This page explains how Motimi's free trial, subscription billing, cancellations, and refunds work. It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Free trial

  • New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial of Motimi+.
  • A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
  • You will not be charged during the trial period.
  • Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will start automatically and your card will be charged the then-current price.
  • You can cancel any time during the trial from the Me page or the Stripe customer portal.

2. Subscription plans

  • Monthly — $6.99 per month, billed monthly.
  • Annual — $39 per year, billed annually (saves ~53%).

All prices are in USD and exclusive of taxes. Applicable taxes (e.g. VAT/GST) are added at checkout where required.

3. Auto-renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period — you keep access until then. To cancel, open Me → Manage subscription, or contact us at hello@getmotimi.com.

4. Refunds — general policy

Because subscriptions auto-renew and you can cancel at any time before renewal, we generally do not offer refunds for partial periods or unused time. Exceptions:

  • Accidental renewal — if you forgot to cancel and have not used Motimi+ in the new period, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will issue a full refund as a goodwill gesture.
  • Service failure — if a major part of the Service is unavailable for an extended period, we may issue pro-rated refunds.
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors — always refunded in full.

5. EU / UK 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of purchase, no reason required, by emailing hello@getmotimi.com. By starting to use the Service immediately, you may agree to begin performance during the withdrawal period; in that case, you may still withdraw, but we may charge a proportionate amount for the time you had access.

6. App stores

If you ever subscribe through Apple App Store or Google Play, that platform's refund policy applies — you must request refunds directly with Apple or Google.
